THE EMAIL GUIDE
A few words.
Emi takes it from there.
A new listing. An open house. Something useful for your market. Here’s how to turn the thought into a request.
A little setup, once
Start with your name, company email, and Florida real estate license details. Confirm your professional profile, add your logo and brand preferences, and connect the social accounts you want to use.
Your account gives you the address to use for requests to Emi. Send from your registered email so the request reaches the right brand and account. Keep using your own email app.
After setup, the rhythm is simple: send a request, review the draft, approve the post.
Your first email to Emi
Say what you want to share. Include the address and city when it’s about a property, plus the details you want in the post. An ordinary sentence works.
To: Your Emi request address
Subject: A post for Saturday’s open house
Hi Emi,
Open house at 123 Oak Street, St. Augustine, this Saturday, 12–3. Can you make a post for Instagram and Facebook? Keep it warm and welcoming.
Thank you!
Replace the sample address, date, time, and platforms with your own. You don’t need a clever prompt, a template name, or a design brief.
The useful details
| If you want… | Tell Emi… |
|---|---|
| A listing announcement | The address and city, the confirmed listing status, and the details you want included. |
| An open house post | The address, date, start and end time, and any confirmed event details. |
| A market update | Your area, audience, and the question or topic you want to cover. |
| A particular feel | Something like “warm and welcoming,” “more concise,” or “a little more polished.” |
Include the current list price yourself if you want it in the post. An assessed value or automated estimate is not the list price. Emi should ask when a required detail is missing.
Already in an email? Forward it.
You can forward the relevant part of a listing email and add a short instruction at the top: “Emi, please make an open house post from the details below.” Include the facts in the email body so your request is clear.
Trim out unrelated conversations, private client details, and financial information before forwarding. Only share material you have permission to use.
If you include a link, also include the essential facts. A listing page may be restricted, outdated, or unavailable. Emi can only work with information the service can access or you provide.
